My first born child has perished.
I'm still waiting for my sister to verify for certain, but from the description given in their email and this attached photo, I'm pretty sure the box is gone. It contained the very first carving I ever did, nearly six years ago. A pretty good lifespan for a letterbox, but I'm still sad to see it go.
